I keep receiving an "error" when importing a recipe

Oh no! Sorry to hear you’re seeing an error message while importing a recipe! Let’s get this sorted out together.

Check Recipe Compatibility

First, take a look at our Importing Guides to make sure the recipe you’re trying to import is compatible for download. Some websites or formats may not yet be supported.

Contact Our Support Team

If your recipe should be compatible and you’re still running into issues, please email support@recime.app with the following details:

  • Your ReciMe username

  • The original URL/link or an image of the recipe you’re trying to import

This will help our team investigate what’s going wrong and get things fixed faster.

Try These Workarounds While We Investigate

While we look into the issue, you can still save your recipe by:

  • Taking screenshots of the recipe and importing them directly through the ReciMe share shortcut, or

  • Copying and pasting the recipe text into ReciMe using the Import by Paste feature.

Both of these methods will save your recipe so you don’t lose it while we troubleshoot.
