What to do if I think I’ve been charged twice?

Last updated February 3, 2026

If it looks like you’ve been charged twice for ReciMe but only see one active subscription, don’t worry, this is usually easy to sort out. Here are the most common reasons it might happen and what to do next.

You may have subscribed twice using different methods

It’s possible you accidentally created two subscriptions, for example, one through the Apple App Store and another directly on our website with a credit card.

  • In some cases, your app will display both subscriptions.

  • If not, check both the App Store and our website to confirm whether two subscriptions exist.

You may have created a second account

Sometimes, users create a new account by logging in with a different method, for example, once with Apple or Google Sign-In, and another time with an email and password.

Try this to check:

  • Log out of the ReciMe app.

  • Log back in using a different sign-in method (Apple, Google, or email/password).

  • Go to More → Settings → My Subscription to see which account has the active plan.

You might share a payment method with someone else

If you share a credit card or bank account with a family member or partner, check whether they may have subscribed to ReciMe using the same payment method.

Still seeing duplicate charges?

If you’ve checked all of the above and still think you’ve been charged twice, please email support@recime.app with:

  • Your ReciMe username

  • Any possible email addresses used

  • A screenshot or receipt showing both charges, please make sure the transaction clearly shows ReciMe as the merchant

    • For Apple (iOS): include your Order ID

    • For Google Play: include your Transaction ID

    • For Stripe (website subscriptions): include the last 4 digits of the card used

Our team will review your details and help identify what’s happened as quickly as possible. 🧡
