Updating your username is quick and easy, here's how:

1. Head to the Profile tab.

2. Tap Edit Profile.

3. Hit Edit next to Your username.

4. Type in your new username.

5. Tap Save and you're done!

Heads up: If your new username doesn't show straight away, try closing and reopening the app, or give the screen a quick pull-down to refresh.

Username requirements

Before you save, make sure your username ticks these boxes:

• Length: Between 3 and 30 characters

• Allowed characters: Lowercase letters (a–z), numbers (0–9), and . _ -

• Start & end: Must begin and end with a letter or number, not a special character

• No consecutive special characters: Things like --, __, or ._ won't work

• No uppercase letters or spaces

✅ Good to go: spicy.mango42, crispy-taco-421, user_name123

❌ Won't work: SpicyMango (uppercase), -spicymango (starts with a special character), spicy__mango (consecutive specials)
