I was charged, but want a refund

Last updated February 3, 2026

We’re sorry to hear you’re thinking about a refund, we know these things happen!

Please note that, per our Terms of Service, all sales made in the app are final. Refunds may be processed only in limited cases and are granted at our sole discretion.

How to request a refund

How your refund is handled depends on where you originally subscribed.

Step 1: Identify Your Subscription Method

In the ReciMe app, go to:

More → Settings → My Subscription

This page will show whether your subscription was made through Apple, Google Play, or Stripe.

Once you know where you subscribed, follow the steps below.

Step 2: Request a refund

Apple (App Store Subscriptions)

Refunds for App Store purchases must be requested directly through Apple.

Apple doesn’t share billing information with us to protect your privacy, and as a matter of policy, app developers like ReciMe cannot manage or issue refunds for Apple subscriptions.

When you downloaded ReciMe from the App Store, you entered into a billing agreement with Apple, who acts as the merchant of record.

To request a refund:

Option 1:

  1. Visit Apple Support.

  2. Go to Billing & Subscriptions → Subscriptions & Purchases.

Option 2:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.

  3. Tap or click “I’d like to…”, then select “Request a refund.”

  4. Choose your reason and select Next.

  5. Choose the ReciMe app and tap Submit.

👉 For more information, see Apple’s guide: Request a Refund for Apps or Purchases.

Google (Google Play Subscriptions)

Refunds for Google Play purchases must be requested directly through Google.

Google Play does not share billing information with us, and per Google’s policy, app developers cannot process refunds directly.

When you downloaded ReciMe from the Google Play Store, your payment agreement was managed by Google as the merchant of record.

To request a refund:

  1. Go to play.google.com/store/account.

  2. Click Order History.

  3. Find your ReciMe subscription.

  4. Click Request a refund or Report a problem next to it.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Stripe

If you subscribed directly through our website (via Stripe), our team can help you with your request.

Please email support@recime.app with the subject line “Refund Request.”

Include the following details to help us locate your account:

  • Your first and last name

  • Your ReciMe username

    • (Optional) The email address linked to your account

Not sure which email your account uses? Open the app and go to More → Settings → Account Settings, it’s listed at the very top.

  • The date you were charged

Once we receive your email, our refund specialist will review your request and follow up as soon as possible.

We’d be sad to see you go, but we truly value your feedback and want to make sure your experience with ReciMe is the best it can be. 🧡
