How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?

We’re sorry to see you go (for now!), but you can cancel your subscription or free trial anytime. Just follow the steps below, depending on where you subscribed.

How to cancel for App Store Subscribers (iOS)

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, your subscription is managed by Apple directly.

🔸 ReciMe can’t cancel Apple subscriptions on your behalf, as Apple doesn’t share billing access with app developers.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
    Or visit apple.com/account/subscriptions.

  2. Find ReciMe in your active subscriptions list and tap it.

  3. Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.

How to cancel for Google Play Subscribers (Android)

If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, your subscription is handled by Google.

🔸 ReciMe can’t cancel Google Play subscriptions on your behalf, as Google does not allow third-party access to billing information.

  1. Open the Google Play app on your Android device.

  2. Go to your Subscriptions page.

  3. Select ReciMe.

  4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

How to cancel on the app if you subscribed via Stripe

  1. Open the ReciMe app and go to Settings > My Subscription.

  2. Tap Manage my subscription and follow the prompts to cancel.

How to cancel on your browser if you subscribed via Stripe

  1. Visit this link.

  2. Enter the exact email address you used to create your ReciMe account.
    You can check this by opening the app and navigating to More > Settings > Account Settings, your email will be listed at the top.

  3. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation of your subscription.

Important Notes

  • You must cancel your free trial at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged.

  • If you cancel, you’ll still have access to ReciMe Plus features until your trial or subscription period ends.

  • Once it expires, your account will automatically revert to the free version, your recipes will stay saved, but you’ll return to the free import limit.

About Charges and Consent

We’ll never charge you without your permission.

When you start a free trial, you provide payment details upfront through Apple, Google Play, or Stripe and we clearly show the amount you’ll be charged when the trial ends.

All trials automatically renew into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
