Chop half of a yellow onion.
Boil water for pasta and heavily salt it.
Cook onions in olive oil until translucent.
Add ground beef to the pan with the onions and season with salt.
Tilt the pan to remove excess grease using a paper towel.
Crush a few garlic cloves and add them to the meat mixture along with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
Add marinara sauce to the ground beef mixture and let it simmer.
Prepare the alfredo sauce by melting butter in a pan and adding garlic for thirty seconds.
Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer, adding more if necessary.
Season the alfredo sauce with garlic powder and onion powder.
Add parmesan cheese slowly while mixing in reserved pasta water.
In a casserole dish, layer spaghetti noodles at the bottom, then pour alfredo sauce on top.
Layer the spaghetti sauce over the alfredo sauce and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
Bake in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving, garnishing with parsley.
