3/4 cup water (warm-between 100 and 110 degrees F)

2 tsp active dry yeast

1 tbsp sugar or honey

3 cups all purpose flour

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

1 eggs
In a mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup warm water, 2 teaspoons active dry yeast, and 1 tablespoon sugar or honey. Mix and let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
In another mixing bowl, combine 3 cups all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon salt.
Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 egg to the flour mixture.
Pour in the yeast mixture and mix with a dough hook for about 10 minutes until a smooth dough ball forms.
Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rest for one hour in a warm area.
After an hour, dump the dough onto a clean surface and shape it into a rectangle, then roll it up.
Place the rolled dough seam side down in a greased loaf pan, cover it, and let it rest for 30 more minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Bake the bread in the oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the bread from the oven and brush some butter on top while it's still hot.
Let the bread cool for about an hour before slicing.
