Montreal Steak Seasoning

BBQ sauce
Season generously: 1–3 tri-tips using Montreal Steak Seasoning
Drizzle your favorite BBQ sauce over the top.
Wrap tightly in foil — I double pouch mine to make sure NO steam escapes.
Bake at 275°F for 3½–4 hours. That’s it.
When you open the pouch, it will be swimming in its own juices and unbelievably tender.
Tri-tip has two different grain directions.
Before slicing, look closely — you’ll see the fibers change direction in the center.
Slice the roast in half where the grain shifts.
Then slice each half against the grain.
