3 green onions, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

2 tbsp dark soy sauce

4 tbsp light soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp white or black pepper

1 tsp fresh grated ginger

4 tsp sugar

1/2 cup water
Rice (for serving)
Place chicken pieces in a bowl and marinate with Shaoxing wine or soy sauce, salt, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients together for the sauce. Mix and set aside.
Add oil to a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
In the same pan, add your onions, and garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Pour in the sauce mixture and stir continuously until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
Add in your green onion and cook briefly until just wilted.
Serve over a fresh bowl of rice or enjoy it as is.
